Emiratisation in the private sector is in full force!
It is great to see first-hand that Emiratisation in the private sector is most definitely happening, and very quickly too! This article touches on the fact that to increase the number of UAE locals working in the private sector, to reach the goal for 2021, the mind-set of Young Emiratis who prefer to work for the government needs to change.

However, I can say that I have spoken, and worked with, some extremely talented and ambitious locals who do not mind what sector they work in at all, as long as it is a good opportunity (and rightfully so). These jobs are available and we can hit the Emiratisation target for 2021! The one thing I have noticed though is that these young talented UAE locals are difficult to find.

I personally have found many of the people that I have spoken with through referrals and networking. So for anyone looking for a job I would recommend getting in contact with a Recruiter who you trust and know of, and get a LinkedIn account.

LinkedIn is great for building relationships and strengthening your connections anyway, and you never know, you may find your dream job from there.
